皮马社区学院需要教师, 员工和管理人员遵守联邦版权法. 学院程序涵盖广泛的主题，包括:

何谓版权?

版权 is a form of legal protection for authors of original works intended to foster creative expression by promoting "the progress of science and useful arts" (U.S. 宪法第1条第8款. 的re are two primary options for obtaining permission to use 版权-protected material: (1) contact the 版权 holder directly, 或(2)联系版权清查中心(www.版权.com).

Prior to reproducing a 版权-protected work which requires royalty fees to be paid to the 版权 holder, the employee must receive permission from his or her administrative supervisor to use funds from the employee’s department.

的re are many open access web-based resources that are either in the public domain or available through a 知识共享 license. You can also use resources from the PCC 图书馆’s databases for your classes without having to request permission and the material can be used for more than one semester.

的 College library databases contain materials that may be used for academic purposes under the rights purchased by the College. Faculty may provide students with access to the database materials by providing the students with a direct link to the material.
